A little context
Field tech by day, systems builder by night, dog dad full-time.
The short version
I grew up around freight, construction, and family business, studied Criminal Justice at Cal State LA — graduated with honors in 2019 — and found my way into pest control, work that's equal parts detective, scientist, and customer whisperer.
These days I do pest management and attic inspection work across greater Los Angeles, run Claypower LLC, and build LifeOS, a personal operating system that keeps my tasks, notes, money, health, and goals in one canonical place — maintained with a small fleet of AI agents.
Off the clock I'm usually outside with Pablo, my dog and full-time adventure supervisor, or planning the next trip somewhere with elevation.

How I got here
Cal State LA
B.S. in Criminal Justice with honors — and an AA + AS-T from LA City College before it. The through-line ever since: systems, evidence, and how people actually behave.
MoveFreight & the job site
Freight sales and dispatch — dozens of accounts, real billing volume — then site supervision in construction. Both taught the same lesson: the plan is nothing, the follow-through is everything.
Into the field
Started in pest control in 2025 and went all-in: general pest, mosquito, rodent and attic work, and a reputation for notes so complete the next tech thanks you.
Licenses, LifeOS, and a domain
Branch 2 + 3 applicator license in hand, Field Rep exam next, LifeOS running my life in the background — and sethskyler.com registered in October as the front door for all of it.
